Islam is fully captured in 3 ع's: Ilm, Amal, & Ishq. To revive these is our mission.
Ilm — Knowledge that grounds us
Knowledge is the condition, the foundation, the very first step to enter Islam. And, it must inform every facet of our lives thereafter. Allah chose to make knowledge of His Din especially accessible through effort. It is only then that we will appreciate it. At The Ayn Project, knowledge is taken seriously. Classes spanning a variety of subjects will be offered, so we actually progress in our journey of Islam. The aim is to draw closer to Allah & His Beloved Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم through learning more and more about our beautiful Din.
Amal — Practice that binds us
We will be held accountable for what we know. Being knowledgeable is not a virtue if it doesn't manifest itself in making us better representatives of Allah & His Beloved Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم. Knowledge may be the condition, but conditions serve to lead to desired results. The result we desire through knowledge is to become closer to Allah & His dear Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم by following their Guidance.
Ishq — Devotion that sustains us
We strive to improve ourselves through Ilm & Amal, but we're flawed beings. We have our shortcomings and we slip time and time again. Sayyiduna Anas mentions that one Companion was once asked by the Beloved of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم what he prepared for the Day of Judgment. The Companion humbly replied that he cannot confidently present any of his actions in the Majestic Court of Allah, but he certainly loves Allah & His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. Our dear Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied, "You will be with Whom you love." Love of Allah & His Beloved صلى الله عليه وسلم will save us. We pray that every effort of ours to learn and act is permeated with this deep love.

The Ayn Project isn't just an educational archive; it's a mission to develop a community that will make Allah & His Beloved صلى الله عليه وسلم pleased with us. The aspiration is to have a community with these values, both on the ground and online.
